Draft, under legal review

FolkAround is run by Neleres, LLC ("we" or "us"). By using FolkAround you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
You're responsible for what happens on your account. Keep access to your email, Apple or Google account secure, since that's how you sign in. One person, one account. Tell us if you think someone else is using yours.
FolkAround helps you find people to do things with, but we don't check who anyone is, run background checks, or supervise what happens at a plan. You decide whether to go, and you're responsible for your own safety.
We aren't responsible for what people do at plans or for any plan, place or event being as described.
Don't use FolkAround to:
You own what you post: plans, notes, photos, places and answers. You give us permission to store it, show it to the people your settings allow, and use it to run and improve FolkAround. That permission ends when you delete it or your account, except for anonymous counts and copies in short-term backups.
Only post what you have the right to share. Places you add and reports about places may be corrected or merged by other people and our staff.
We review reports and may remove content, limit what an account can do, or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, sometimes without notice when safety is at stake. The app also enforces limits, such as how many plans one person can post in a day, week or month, to keep it from being flooded.
You can stop using FolkAround and delete your account at any time from settings. If you think we got a moderation decision wrong, write to us.
Venues such as bars, gyms and parks can claim their page and post official events. We verify a claim before a venue's staff can post. A venue is responsible for its own events, prices and age limits. When you say you're 18 or older to see an adults-only event, that has to be true.
Venues are free for now. A venue we verify while they are free is a founding venue: the venue plan stays free for as long as that venue stays verified at that place, including after we start charging new venues. It ends if the venue is released or loses its verification, and it does not move to another place.
Plans that people make at a venue are theirs, not the venue's.
FolkAround is provided "as is" during the beta, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be available, accurate or error-free, or that a plan will happen.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens between people who met through FolkAround. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
You agree to cover our costs if a claim against us arises from your breaking these terms or the law.
Disputes. Please write to us first; most problems can be sorted out that way. These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, USA. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Fulton County, Georgia, or to small claims court where you live.
Changes. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Using FolkAround after that means you accept the new terms.
